"SHRI" Electric wire rope hoists are compact, strong, sturdy and elegently designed considering easy maintenance, part replacement during normal working ete. The hoists are available in the range of 125 Kgs. to 10.000 Kgs and are generally manufactured as per IS 3938. The Hoists confirm to class II medium duty working. However, hoists for class III/IV, heavy duty are also manufactured as per specific demand. Our standard range cover, speed and lifting heights as per table, We can also manufacture hoists for higher lifts, high operating speeds, moving on curved tracks upon specific request The hoists unit is divided into number of sub - assemblies so that it is easy to maintain important parts such as motor, gear box, rope drum, trolley, rope guide, control panel ete. |

MAIN FRAME: The main frame plates are of adequate thickness and connected together with tie rods to make it sturdy, rigid and anti- vibration type. |

ROPE DRUM: M.S. Fabricated seamless pipe rope drum is provided with machined cut spiral grooves for wire- rope seating in one single layer. |

| ROPE GUIDE: The rope guide is provided with ring, encircling the drum to keep the rope in position The rope guide moves on the drum and prevent the rope from riding and loosening. |

WIRE ROPE: Fiber core wire rope with 6 X 36 construction, ungalvanised is used on all standard hoists. Factor of safety is kept as per Indian standard. |

GEAR BOX : Enclosed type oil splash lubricated gearbox is provided for hoists and cross travel motion. Pinions & gears are cut from carbon steel material, suitably heat- treated to give silent, trouble free running of drive. Anti - friction bearing are provided in gearboxes. |

BOTTOM BLOCK: Totally enclosed type bottom block assembly is fitted on hoist except with openings for wire rope. The load hook is single shank trap-ezoidal section supported on thrust bearing which enables the load to swivel freely. |

MOTORS: The crane duty squirrel- cage motors suitable for working on 400/440 V; 50c/s, 3 phase A.c. Supply with high starting torque are used for hoist and cross travel motion. The motors are suitable for reversing duty operation, frequent braking and equipped with class F insulation. |

BRAKE: Electromagnetic disc brake is fitted on hoist motor on non driving end and is connected across motor terminals. The brake is " Fail Safe" type and designed for 200% torque. Brake for cross travel motion is optional. |

LIMIT SWITCH: The hoist motion is provided with built-in limit switch to control top & bottom position of hook. The limitswitch is actuated by rope guide. |

| TROLLEY: The cross- travel mechanism is fixed to the framecarriage and is factory adjusted for beam size specified. The travel wheels are machined from carbon steel forged material mounted on antifriction bearings. Different mounting arrangements are available to meet customer's requirements such as fixed suspension, geared travel, push pull travel, and electric motor travel. |

CONTROL PANEl & PENDENT: Sheet metal control panel of adequate size is provided and consists of low voltage transformer, air break contactors, overload relays & MCB. The contactors are operated by "Press to hold" spring loaded push bottons fitted on pendent station The pendent is suspended from hoist by a small wirerope or chain, so as to avoid cable tension due to weight The control circuit voltage is kept atll 0 volts or less to provide safety to the operator. |

POWER SUPPLY: The hoist manufactured by us are suitable for operation on 400/440 volts, 3 phase, 50 c/s A - C supply.
TESTING: Every hoist unit manufactured in the factory is tested for 125 % of the rated |
